Care & warranty

Use filtered or spring water for best performance and less scaling. Tap and bottled also work. Avoid water with high chlorine content.

Daily: a light rinse after each use. Monthly: a five-minute citric acid or white-vinegar rinse to descale the PEM chamber and keep the electrodes performing at full output.

13-month manufacturer warranty on all components. 90-day money-back guarantee on the bottle itself, full refund including return shipping, with the bottle returned in mint condition, with the original packaging and all components.

Don't use distilled water. Electrolysis needs minerals to carry current: no minerals, no current, no hydrogen.

The 2pm crash isn't your schedule.
It's your cells.

Try it for 90 days. If your cells don't notice, neither will your wallet.

Fig. 4 — The bottle in section.

You're not getting older.
You're getting oxidized.

It starts with a sentence you can't finish.

Fig. 5 — Wednesday, three p.m.

Three o'clock on a Wednesday. You're typing a reply, something you've said a hundred times. And the thought that was right there a second ago just… isn't.

You stare at the cursor. You know the word.

You can feel the shape of it. But it won't come. So after ten seconds you close the laptop and go make another coffee you don't want.

That moment used to be rare. Now it's Tuesday. It's Thursday. It's most days by lunch.

The alarm goes off and your body argues. A low, persistent negotiation between what you planned to do today and what you actually have the energy for. So you bargain. You trade the workout for the walk. The ambitious dinner for the frozen one. It isn't laziness. Something in you is running at seventy percent, and nobody can tell you why.

So you do what you're told you should do.

Optimize sleep. Rotate the supplements. Maybe you try cold plunges and the red light panel and the elimination diet. You drop $400 on the functional medicine consult where they nod a lot and order more bloodwork.

And some of it helps. For a minute. Then the window closes and you're back to bargaining with your own energy by lunchtime. The bloodwork comes back normal. Always normal. And “normal” starts to feel like a door closing.

And this is why the door keeps closing.

Every cell in your body runs on oxygen. Oxygen in, energy out. But the trade isn't clean. Every time a cell burns oxygen to make energy, the reaction leaks. Tiny, unstable molecules called free radicals slip out and ricochet through the cell, stripping electrons from whatever they hit: proteins, DNA, and the mitochondria that made the energy in the first place.

It's the same chemical reaction that turns iron into rust. The same reaction that turns a cut apple brown when it hits the air.

That reaction is happening inside you right now, trillions of times, in every cell.

You're rusting.

Literally, chemically, from the inside.

When you were twenty-five, your body cleared the rust faster than it formed. Somewhere in your thirties the math flipped, gradually, like a bank account where the withdrawals start exceeding the deposits by a few dollars a month.

The fatigue that lingers even though you sleep more. Recovery time that takes longer and longer. The clarity that used to be automatic and now feels like something you have to reach for. The inflammation your doctor calls “normal for your age.”

Medicine has a precise name for this: oxidative stress. It's the rusting process itself, and it feeds cardiovascular disease, neurodegeneration, autoimmune dysfunction, and the thing we loosely call “aging.”

Which is why everything you've tried has helped a little and changed nothing.

What about the antioxidant supplements? Glutathione, CoQ10, vitamin C, curcumin.

They do what they claim. They neutralize free radicals on contact.

But free radicals do their worst work inside the mitochondria, the power plants of your cells.

And the membrane around the mitochondria is ruthlessly selective.

It lets some things in. It keeps most things out. Almost every antioxidant you've ever taken is on the wrong side of that membrane.

It's like a fire department spraying the outside walls while the inside burns. That's your supplement cabinet.

You didn't choose the wrong products, and you didn't fail to try hard enough.

The molecules themselves are physically too large to reach the site of damage.

The good news is, there IS a molecule that fits.

Fig. 6a — The shelf, 2024–2026.

If you've tried hydrogen before and felt nothing, this part is for you.

In the last three years, hydrogen water exploded into wellness. Bottles started showing up everywhere. Celebrities endorsed them. Amazon flooded with options at every price: $40, $80, $300, $1,200. It went from obscure to mainstream in about eighteen months.

And then the reviews started.

“Used it every day for a week. Nothing happened.”

“I wasted $1,193 on hydrogen water bottles before I gave up.”

“It worked for two months and then stopped producing bubbles entirely.”

“I'm convinced this whole category is a scam.”

Fig. 6b — What they leave behind.

If you've written one of those reviews, or thought one of those thoughts: you weren't wrong.

Most of the bottles flooding the market produce visible bubbles, light up an indicator, and deliver almost no actual molecular hydrogen to your cells. Independent lab testing shows most measure under 1 mg/L. The therapeutic threshold in the research begins at 0.5 mg/L.

The science holds up. The bottles didn't.

The smallest molecule in the universe.
The biggest one your cells have been missing.

Fig. 7a — H₂ under the glass

H2 is the most studied antioxidant in clinical research, and the reason it works is also the reason almost nothing else has.

H2 is the smallest molecule that can exist, two hydrogen atoms bonded together and nothing else, so small it passes through nearly every barrier in your body: skin, the blood-brain barrier, cell membranes, even the membrane around the mitochondria.

It only neutralizes what's actually damaging you.

Most antioxidants are blunt instruments. They neutralize every free radical they touch, which sounds good until you realize that not all free radicals are bad. Your body uses some of them as signaling molecules.

Fig. 7b — Selective vs. blunt

H2 is selective. It only neutralizes the most damaging free radicals, specifically the hydroxyl radical, the most destructive one in your body. The good free radicals stay intact so your body's natural responses keep working.

Two decades of research. Read it yourself.

The first major study on molecular hydrogen as a therapeutic antioxidant was published in Nature Medicine in 2007, by a research team at Nippon Medical School in Tokyo. That paper opened the door.

Since 2007, more than 3,000 peer-reviewed studies have examined H2's effects across 200+ human disease models: oxidative stress, inflammation, mitochondrial function, recovery, cognition, cardiovascular health, and beyond. The research is happening at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Loma Linda University School of Medicine, Baylor College of Medicine, and clinical research centers across Japan, China, and Europe.

We're not the ones making the claims. The studies are. We just built a bottle that lets you drink the molecule the studies are about.

01

1.6 mg/L hydrogen concentration

The chemistry ceiling. Most cheap bottles claim 8–15 mg/L. Those numbers are physically impossible at standard pressure. We don't claim them because they aren't real.

02

97%+ pure hydrogen output

When you watch the bottle bubble, you're watching real hydrogen dissolve into the water.

03

SPE/PEM electrolysis

The same technology used in clinical-grade hydrogen inhalers, industrial fuel cells, and NASA spacecraft life-support systems. Not used in any bottle under $100.

04

Catalytic-coated electrodes

Inert under everyday electrolysis. The output you measure on day 1 is the output you measure on day 1,000.

05

20-25 year cell lifespan

Most consumer hydrogen bottles fail within 6 to 18 months, which is the business model, so this one is built to be the last bottle you need.

06

Filtered or spring water. No filters, no cartridges.

Tap, filtered or bottled, whatever's in your kitchen. The cell needs the minerals in real water to conduct; that's what makes electrolysis possible. Nothing to subscribe to, nothing to replace.

07

Pressurized PEM chamber

Pressurization boosts dissolved-hydrogen concentration up to 5× over open, air-infused bottles. The molecule stays in the water longer because the pressure keeps it there.

08

USB-C charging · 5-minute single or 10-minute double cycle

Fill the bottle, press the button, wait five minutes (or ten for a double-strength cycle), drink. Drink it fresh, because hydrogen starts leaving open water within 15 to 30 minutes. One USB-C charge runs 15–20 cycles, about a week of daily use.

Don't trust us.
Test us.

You don't have to take our word for what's in the water, or anyone else's.

There's a laboratory test for dissolved hydrogen that fits on a kitchen counter: H2Blue reagent drops, methylene blue with a platinum catalyst. Put a drop in a small sample of the water and swirl. If there's real hydrogen in it, the blue turns clear. Each drop that clears is roughly 0.1 mg/L. Keep adding drops until the blue stays, count them, and you have the concentration.

  1. 01Fill the HydroSpark with filtered or spring water.
  2. 02Run a standard 5-minute cycle.
  3. 03Pour a small sample into a clean glass, straight from the bottle.
  4. 04Add one drop of H2Blue and swirl. If it clears, add the next.
  5. 05Stop when a drop stays blue. Count the ones that cleared.

Blue means no hydrogen. Clear means yes. Ninety seconds, no lab, no meter, no chemistry degree.

Where the drops are. Not in the box yet. We planned to ship them with every bottle this summer and paused it: the supplier isn't settled, there's no single-serve vial small enough, and a test run wrong blames the bottle for the tester's mistake. Until that's sorted, any lab-supply vendor sells H2Blue, and the method is the same for any bottle. The full how-to is here.

What the first three months feel like.

Week by week.

Weeks 1–2

Subtle, not dramatic.

You won't feel the HydroSpark hit. That's how cellular antioxidants work. The fog you didn't notice was there starts lifting before you notice it's lifting. It's slow and gradual.

Weeks 4–8

It gets harder to ignore.

Inflammation that's been sitting in joints, gut, or skin starts to settle. Mental clarity sharpens. Energy through the day evens out. The peaks aren't higher, but the valleys are shallower.

Month 2+

The compounding starts.

The benefits of reducing oxidative stress aren't additive. They're compounding. By month three, the system isn't recovering anymore. It's upgrading.

“I forgot what this feels like.”
“I didn't realize how bad I'd been feeling until it stopped.”
“It's not a high, it's a baseline.”

Common reports · month three

Who shouldn't buy this.

  • If you're looking for a stimulant. Buy caffeine. It's faster, cheaper, and it'll give you exactly the hit you're looking for.

  • If you're hoping for a 30-day turnaround on a chronic condition you've had for fifteen years. The science is real and the timeline doesn't care about your expectations.

  • If you've already decided hydrogen water is a scam. The chemistry is testable, but if you've already made up your mind, save your money.

  • If you have a serious medical condition and you're considering this as a replacement for medical treatment. Talk to your doctor.

Who this is for.

If you've read this far, this is probably for you.

You're tired in a way that sleep doesn't fix. You've tried the supplements and the routines and the protocols and felt yourself plateau. You understand that real cellular change takes weeks, not hours.

You'd rather have a slow, durable correction than a fast, hollow buzz.

You want to feel like the version of yourself you remember from ten years ago. By giving your cells back the molecule they've been missing, instead of hacking your nervous system.

The questions everyone asks before they buy.

+How is this different from the hydrogen products that didn't work?
+How do I know your mg/L claims aren't inflated like everyone else's?
+What if I don't notice anything?
+Is the water safe to drink? Will it taste weird?
+How often do I have to clean it? Are there replacement parts?
+Can I take it on a plane?
+Why is this $177 when I can get a hydrogen bottle on Amazon for $50?
+What happens if it breaks?

You've read the whole case.
Now you get ninety days to test it.

The rust isn't dramatic, and it won't put you in a hospital next week, but it's slow, microscopic and steady, and it doesn't stop on its own. Over time, your body stops feeling like the body you remember.

You can't supplement your way past it. You've tried. You wouldn't have read this far on a page about a water bottle if anything in your cabinet had worked.

So try something new. Something with three thousand studies behind it.

The HydroSpark is the most affordable way we know of to get that molecule into your body, at therapeutic concentrations, every day, for the next twenty years.

That's the offer. The rust is patient. You can be too.

★★★★★

“In my first week of using the Hydrospark water bottle unit, I noticed I was not getting tired at work at all, and I start at 5am. This might be because I have been sleeping in a deeper and more restful sleep as of late. In any case, I do have more energy and stamina. Very impressive start for just a week. The healthy feeling skin is very noticeable right from the start as well. I am very satisfied with this product, and for the price, with the health benefits for years to come.”

“I've had my bottle for over a year now, still going strong! Still goes a few days on a charge!! and so much easier to clean than a Kangen machine!!! Maybe it sounds strange, but without it water almost feels like it's missing something, and once charged the water is more wet 😂 I feel much more hydrated when I use it, especially before a work out or before bed! I sleep way better, and feel the hydration reach my organs faster. I've been recovering from a heart attack the last year, and this has been one of my favorite tools to boost my health and well-being. I travel a lot so the fact I can take it with me anywhere I go is huge! My #1 favorite thing for Ostara, is the way I can charge my SPRING water!!! I don't have to have it hooked up the tap or some city water like many counter units. It's portable, long lasting battery, and still delivers molecular hydrogen to my favorite water sources and that is truly top notch 😀 B I G thank you to the Ostara team for making this product available & affordable 🙏♥️🙌”
